1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Remote for Samsung TV, you agree to these Terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be legally able to enter this agreement or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Licence and acceptable use
Async Digital grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for lawful personal purposes. You may not misuse the App, interfere with devices or networks, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security, reverse engineer except where law permits, infringe rights, or use the App to control a TV without the owner’s permission.
3. Compatibility and connection
The App is designed for compatible Samsung Smart TVs but does not support every model, region, network, TV firmware version, or third-party TV app. Features may vary. Your mobile device and TV generally must share the same Wi-Fi network, and you may need to approve a pairing prompt on the TV. We do not guarantee uninterrupted discovery, pairing, casting, or command delivery.
4. Independent product
Remote for Samsung TV is independently developed. Samsung and related names and marks belong to their respective owners. Async Digital is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Samsung Electronics.
5. Media and responsible use
You retain responsibility for photos, videos, text, and other content you use with the App. You confirm you have the right to access, cast, display, or enter that content. Do not cast unlawful content, expose private material on shared screens, or enter sensitive credentials into an untrusted TV application.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Paid products may unlock premium features. Prices, billing periods, trials, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Apple processes payments. Recurring subscriptions renew unless cancelled through your Apple account before renewal, subject to the displayed purchase terms and applicable law. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
7. Third-party services
TV functionality, App Store distribution, purchases, advertisements, analytics, and linked content may rely on third parties. Their terms and privacy policies may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services, TV firmware, networks, or content beyond what applicable law requires.
8. Availability and disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise continuous availability, compatibility with every television, error-free control, or suitability for safety-critical, commercial, or accessibility-dependent use. Keep access to the TV’s physical controls where needed.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Async Digital will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, media, access, profits, or business arising from the App. Rights and liabilities that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the App or these Terms, change or discontinue features, or suspend access where reasonably necessary. You may stop using the App at any time. Provisions that should survive termination will continue to apply.
