Frequently asked questions
Why can’t the app find my TV?
Confirm your iPhone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Turn off mobile-data-only routing or VPN temporarily, allow Local Network access in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network, and restart both the TV and app.
My TV appears, but it will not connect
Select the TV and watch its screen for a connection request. Choose Allow. If you previously denied it, open the TV’s device connection or external device manager settings, remove the saved phone, and pair again.
The remote stopped responding
Make sure the TV is on and still on the same network. Reopen the device screen and reconnect. Network isolation on guest Wi-Fi can block communication between your phone and TV.
Why does the power button not turn on my TV?
Power-on support varies by TV model and network settings. Enable the TV’s mobile/IP remote or “Power On with Mobile” option when available. Some TVs cannot be awakened from deep standby over Wi-Fi.
How do I cast a photo or video?
Open Cast, choose Photos or Videos, allow access to the items you select, and pick your media. Keep the app active and both devices on the same trusted network during playback.
How do I manage or cancel Premium?
Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose Remote for Samsung TV, then use the available subscription options. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Which TVs are supported?
The App is intended for compatible network-enabled Samsung Smart TVs. Support varies by model, production year, region, firmware, and network configuration.
Before emailing
Never email passwords, payment-card details, or private media. A brief description and screenshot with personal information hidden are usually enough.
